Note the paleness throughout the entire undersides. The tail is just a little too red/bold for a Krider's Red-tailed Hawk, in addition to the brown head, which is an Eastern Red-tailed Hawk Trait. The backside of this bird was notably-mottled in white feathers, which can be seen in juvenile Eastern Red-tailed Hawks (both typical Eastern and Krider's)... As adults, typical Eastern RT Hawks have a much more solid brown appearance throughout their backs, showing just little bits of white throughout the back (and more white flecking throughout the back in juveniles). Adult Krider's RT Hawks still show a considerable amount of white mottling throughout the back and wings. The tail of this bird was about 1/2 white (at the base), with the outer-half of the tail being rufous. It even had a white supercilium (eyebrow area on birds), This bird was so pretty :-)

Also just to mention that Krider's Red-tailed Hawks are extremely pale variety of the Eastern-race Red-tailed Hawk.
