Last month a visitor to my home did not close our backdoor properly when they left, allowing Boo to escape. He was gone for a couple weeks and there were stretches of many days when we did not see him at all. When we did see him, he was panicked and would run away from us as we tried to call him back into the house. Finally hunger and the lure of tuna coaxed him back inside. He has always been a very affectionate cat, but is even more so now that he is home again. I cannot tell you how relieved I am to have my sweet Boo back.
