Dad: I'm afraid we've got some worrying news. It seems I spoke too soon the other day when I said that Pooch was well. A routine trip
to the v*t's has found that Pooch has sudden unexplained weight loss - 10% of his total weight in the last three weeks. It may not
sound like much, but for a small pooch who wasn't exactly plump anyway, it's potentially quite serious.
The puzzle is that Pooch seems perfectly happy in himself - no sign of any pain or discomfort, and his appetite is as good as ever.
Blood test results coming on Friday... hoping for the best.

update 8th April 2011: blood tests inconclusive so Pooch is going back to the v*t for further tests next week.
