New Zealand's Silver Fern (Cyathea dealbata)

Murrays Bay, Auckland, NZ

Ferns do not produce seeds, but instead bear SPORES on the underside of their fertile FRONDS.
SPORES are the asexual reproductive cells on ferns.
Here on the under-side of the Silver fern they appear as small brown dots.

There are many ferns like these growing close to where I live, and I do enjoy taking photos of them in their various stages.
