Denton County - Lewisville - Old Town Station Denton CountyTransit Authority

Today was the first of three Rail-Ready events hosted by the DCTA. This was held at Old Town station in Lewisville. They will kick off service in early June from Denton to join the DART Green line in Dallas at Trinity Mills station.

There was information about the service, face painting, cakes, a model railroad, and Cane's famous chicken and lemonade.

DCTA is currently using Bedd Rail-Diesel Cars, which were built in the 1950's. They are on lease from Trinity Rail Express. DCTA will be using commuter rail equipment which is currently being built.
