The base of the Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) where the Aft Skirt is bolted down to the Mobile Launcher Platform (MLP). The six octagonal panels are the close-out panels to the Thrust Vector Control (TVC) sub-system. Two independent systems for each Booster: Rock (green() and Tilt (red).
