motherless 14 year old christena sailed alone due to what her physician father thought best... his heart had broken when his young wife passed away, leaving him with two weee girls... he never remarried and never saw either of his rwo daughters after both immigrated to america... his death remains a mystery... my great~grandmother died suddenly on december 4, 1924 at age 48, leaf~ing behind a broken hearted family...
