Lots of these limestone formations can be seen along the Utara - Selatan Hwy (E1) on our way from KL to Penang.
This one is just south of Ipoh. From what I read, most of the limestone caves around Ipoh are used as Buddhist temples. Batu Caves, a similar formation north of Kuala Lumpur is used as a Hindu temple.
