My fourth great road bicycle of my lifetime.
Started off with a Trek 1220 many years ago, 14,292 miles.
Next came a Marin Verona (15,940 miles), which was followed by a Lemond Versailles (17,674 miles).
Generally, I keep my bikes for 5-6 years and then move up as technologies advance and the miles roll on.
This Madone, however, is quite a bike! This could be a keeper.

It's my early retirement gift to myself...I am retiring after 38 years of teaching in June 2011.
In addition, I also ride a 2009 Trek 7.5fx hybrid bicycle mostly on local paved rails-to-trails.
