Emily's take on these paintings: "So Kate asked me to paint her some things to liven up her apartment... And the bowl of pears and lemons and things were not inspiring me so I decided to paint her a triptych of meat. Not sure if you're supposed to spend all day of a Friday during Lent painting beef, but, hopefully God sees the hilarity in it." He does, Em, He most certainly does.
