Chimps aren't native to Kenya but the Ol Pejeta Conservancy has a chimpanzee sanctuary which tries to rehabilitate chimps that have been emotionally damaged through maltreatment as pets or who have been orphaned by hunting. Each of these animals has a shocking personal story having had a traumatised life prior to arriving at the sanctuary. This image reveals once such traumatised individual.
