Today was Maude's last day at the Central Florida zoo, her home since 1983. Her friend Mary died two years ago, and Maude has been all alone since then. So she is moving to a zoo in Miami where she will have two other Asian elephants to "hang out" with. She will be missed. Here is a picture of Maude and Mary taken in 2006.
