The petrified logs ar just laying around, sometimes just the way they fell at vulcanic eruption some years ago :-) Now its protected area and a closed park,you're not even allowed to take a very small piece, but in the past they came with trucks to pick them here. -0415.jpg

Excellent colors, light and details on the log. Works perfect as foreground! It being petrified makes it even more exciting!
