Tokyo has been fun. People, places, food and sake, afternoon coffee and desserts and even a slight distraction of poor service from our last dinner place did not dampen our mood. Jigokudani was worth the journey and bruised bum. The snow macaques were camera friendly provided us with lots of photo opportunities. I visited Hachiko at Shibuya. Saw the street performers at Yoyogi Park. Nevertheless, the most exciting place for Lay Hwee and I was the Tsukiji Market. It was full of life and the buzz was amazing. Carts zooming in n out with tunas from the auction hall....masters skillfully slicing and cutting up tunas for sushi chefs. There is lots more in Tokyo for us, but time is our constraint. Another year...another winter...We'll Be Back.
