...what to take? The forecast is for 'armageddon', so I think it'll be a case of traveling light. Well, that's the theory.

Oh my, a dilemma of riches, almost as difficult as which boots to wear!! A wonderful problem!! You already know it is impossible to take the right one. V

The theory didn't seem to work.

Good one! Always travel light...in the face of Armaggedon.

Ah, beautiful selection! I see that some of our Pbase friends have Canon envy! ;)

Quite a line-up - guess you're packed and gone by this stage anyway.
Martin Lamoon19-Feb-2011 08:28
The 24 - 105 and may be the 17-40 for the wide angle!!! Good shooting..................

They look brilliant, Phillip! (I have no time for brand wars.)
Walter Otto Koenig19-Feb-2011 02:29
I'd take the Nikkors, but seeing as you don't have any, take all in the photo. :)
Lee Rudd18-Feb-2011 23:58
the nikkor :)
J. Scott Coile18-Feb-2011 23:47
Always the 135!

That one on the left. It's a Thermos, right?

Without knowing what you expect to shoot I guess I'd plum for the jack of all trades 24-105 and stick with that. If you are likely to shoot things while a spectator you can't go past the good ol' 70-200 f2.8 (my brother loves his) but if you can take two lenses you must have the 17-40. Awww Go on. Take the lot! It's a fine collection of glass to be sure :o)

Quite a collection - toss a coin!
