Two male and two female mergansers were in the river in front of the house this morning. My neighbor called and told me to get the camera out. I filled up an 8GB card with images while the males strutted their stuff for the ladies. Very entertaining. Such beautiful birds!

They have started stopping by most days, we have 50-60 mallards that stay in the river in front of the house from February through early April and I think it helps make the other ducks like this on feel more comfortable here.
