The Nagaden Express bus from Nagano station takes 40 mins. to get to Kanbayashi Onsen. The bus stops by the roadside beside a petrol station (no proper bus terminal). However, on the return journey a small little hut across the road (green circle) provides shelter against the snow/rain if any.
