_MG_56853_4.jpg

Edmonds, Washington

I've been chasing the light for over a month now hoping to catch the undersides of the clouds brightly lit by the colorful sunset. But, the light has been elusive. So, I'll continue to pursue this vision until I finally get it. Thanks for your visits and comments!

This is really pretty. Love the sky and all the colors and the silhouette of the ship. Great detail as well!

Chasing the light is a fantastic description and this image certainly does it justice. Andrea

I hope that everyone looked at this in Original size. It is really a treat to see all of the detail.

The consistency of yellow light in this image is noteworthy
as is the 0.00s shutter speed. :-) But seriously, you have
produced yet another iconic Northwest image.

Beautiful scene... and your ferry is so much bigger than the little ones we have... one of the ferrys I actually have to back up and do a t turn to get off... nice light and composition.

Winsome image, Jim.
If for nothing more than a study in light, this is very appealing.
But this is much more than a light study..
