British Columbia

This is Brian McKeever, winner of our local Loppet
by a wide margin this year.

Brian, who is visually impaired, is a Canadian Olympian, and the first Canadian to be named to both the Olympic
and Paralympic Teams (2010). He was scheduled to compete in the Olympic 50 km Cross-Country race but fell
victim to the numbers game as the other 4 members of the team had done so well in their events the Coach
regretfully replaced him with one of them. Brian went on to win 3 Gold Medals at the Paralympic Games.

This effort is just some fun with the 'particle' effect processing that
was seen on photos at the NHL All-Star Weekend in Raleigh, NC.

Great shot, peter. It's really interesting to see that effect on that picture. Wow. Was very interesting to read about Brian McKeever. Isn't it amazing how visually impaired still can engage in pro sports ? Great presentation and information, peter. V
