After a short flight from Hue to Saigon, we drive west to the Mekong Delta. We visited two cities in southern Vietnam, -- Can Tho: with a population of over one million people, it is the largest city in the Mekong Delta. -- Saigon: formally known as Ho Chi Minh City, its population of over 7 million people makes it the largest city in Vietnam. The sun now shines every day making it warm and moderately humid.
