Two historic log buildings located in downtown Whitehorse, Yukon.
Yukon Totem Carver pioneer Martin Berrigan built both buildings in the 1940’s. During the construction of the Alaska Highway rental accommodation in Whitehorse was at a premium. Martin, in his 70’s thought that the rental of the quasi apartments were a great idea to provide him with some income during his retirement years.
In January 2000 by order of council, the buildings were officially designated as a Municipal Historic Site. They are one of the most photographed attractions in the Yukon Territory.
