I shot this at the San Diego Botanic Garden at night using the Nikon R1 close-up speedlight system. The garden was open at night for most of December as part of their lovely holiday Garden of Lights, when, as it says on their Web site, the garden "is transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland with over 100,000 sparkling lights illuminating the Garden for a magical holiday experience."
