I like the contrast too Richard. The details along the bottom of the bell and the etching of the unicorn really are nice. It's not easy to get both to look so nice. That being said, it is the fine texture in the wood table that makes the shot to me.

Nicely done, I like how the bottom edge catches the light and retains its seperation into the shadow

Endika is right about the contrast and oof background, which continues right out the window to the unicorn's playground. Just a wonderful still life, Richard. --Stefan

I like the high contrast in this B&W, it enhances the decoration and transparence of this piece of glass. The OOF chair and the light reflected in the table gives a perfect touch of context to the object. endika

I very nice, uncluttered still life. What a beautiful crystal bell! I bet it has the high ringing sound characteristic of crystal.
