The city of Meridian, Mississippi boasts an antique carousel of some historical interest. As a result, the carousel horse has become the city's official symbol, and businesses and public agencies display their own examples, painted by local artists. They're moderately attractive, and most fit their surroundings nicely. Not this one, which occupies the airport lobby, framed here by the baggage claim area.
