I am so jealous - I would go diving in the water just to completely take in the warmth.

Thanks for the comments. The water in this estuary has a distinctive reddish/orange tinge due to presence of tannin caused by decaying leaves/roots. The estuary is currently closed at the mouth to the sea and has very still water which accentuates the colour. Only heavy rain will cause the mouth to open and flush it out.

I agree. Water has a special appearance in your photos, like it was a bit metallic: a great capability of reflecting, and a brownish transparence ... it is something of usual there?
