Here are four separate 20c coins. Because of their proximity to the camera and the angle of
the lighting (which is on the OTHER side of the display), the way the light treats each coin is
slightly different. Of particular interest to me are the farther coins where the brightest light
is on the lower part of the monarch's face. Because the chin area really ought to be in shadow,
evidently the light is being reflected back from one or more of the closer coins or perhaps
from something on the camera. Of course it MIGHT simply be my radiant personality. (ahem) In
any event, watching light bounce around is like studying chaos theory - I suppose. What fun.
Umm .. the little men in white coats will be coming to take me away shortly.

The light sure brings out the bas-relief of the coins. Great macro, wonderful tones. Don't forget to post a shot of the light from your radiant personality on the white coats you are expecting:-) It is a great shot David. V
