This photo is absolutely beautiful. It captures a sincere sense of wonder and innocence. See the looks on the three kids at front-right. The shorter boy and the girl with bright buttons are totally captivated. The taller boy, appears, to me, like he's trying to figure out how the puppets are working - not so much a smile at the performance, rather a look of puzzled curiosity. And, I'm sure that they are brothers - same blond hair, smile, and face. Even the lady at right appears to be enjoying the show, and who could help but smile at the sound of the kids' laughter. glad you were there Duncan

If memory serves me correctly, this is looking to the south side of Robinson Street. Nicholl's was a bakery. To the right, a paint store where Ron Sinden worked, and / or his family ran the business. (grad 69?)In fact, that might be Ron standing out front of the paint store under the word "supply". The grocery store "Edith's Market" was at some point run by Bill Brunton's folks in the early 70's. The Simcoe Meat Market was run by(?)Tony Zdriluk, Sr. For rock trivia fans, the now deceased bassist of "The Band", Rick Danko worked here as a teenager briefly in the 60's and was always greatful to Mr.Z. Then there was Cardiff's pharmacy...
