This old railroad bridge was recently restored and converted to a walking bridge across the Hudson River at Poughkeepsie, NY (my hometown). Many people use it daily to walk back and forth between Poughkeepsie and Highland...either for exercise or simply to enjoy the magnificent views up and down the river. Of course the wind is constant up there and so during this time of year, it is only for the most intrepid! :)
