Merritt Island NWR is a birdwatchers paradise. I had been a few months ago and wanted to show Rich some Florida sights so we decided to try our luck at bird shots. I had really hoped we'd be able to spot a Roseate Spoonbill - they're absolutely stunning birds. We took the Black Point Wildlife Drive in the Refuge and one of the first sights we saw was this shrub filled with the spoonbills! What a sight!!
