Sorry.....I Got Nothing

Man. I got nothing. NOTHING notable happened over the last two days. Nothing. This is why. It has snowed for two days. Not heavy snow, just steady snow. Not “Snowmagedon” or the “Snowpocalypse”, just snow. Just enough to cover the streets and keep the salt trucks out.

When it snows like this we have accidents. Lots of cars finding lots of ditches. Nothing else happens though. I hate working on days like this. My car gets covered in salt. My boots get covered in salt. My uniform gets covered in salt. My dog gets covered in salt.

Short of a few random calls, I drove around for the past two shifts just wishing the shift would be over.

Ugghh....sorry, but this is the best you get. A mediocre picture and a bunch of words that you probably shouldn’t have bothered even reading.

Did I ever tell you guys that I hate winter?

Yeah, winter was fun when we were kids, but not so much anymore. I still like a good storm though. ;-) This is still a nice shot.

I'll bet all those cars down there got very nervous when they saw you on the bridge with your camera :-)

I agree with you on this,Jim. I hate winter too. But over here we frequently run short of salt and sand. So, consider yourself lucky to live in the promised land....

Seems like you have mentioned that before, and, I kind of like the symmetry of this!
I don't like the shoveling part of Winter, but I sure like looking at the snow, and I really like the four seasons!

I agree with others, it's a very nice shot. I share your dislike of salt. I wish there was a way to have winter and snow without it. Guess that would mean no cars, though...

Great shot and pov would you rather have nothing happen on days like that or a shit load to do. On days like that I hunt for pic and have a nice scotch!
