Hal, My iiig was manufactured in 1956/57. The Elmar is from 1946. I think that my Elmar should be coated since Leitz started coating lenses after the war (and it has a slightly blue tint to the glass). The lens is marked in meters instead of feet. I set the aperture on the front (no clicks). The scale is f=3.5,4.5,6.3,9,12.5 and 18. It is kind of weird to not have 5.6 and 8 when I'm trying to figure the exposure in my head. ;-} I know I posted this before, but here is the picture of my beautiful Barnack. [img][/img]
