Excellent idea and a not so often seen bridge ! We have one like this one in Honfleur, Normandy. this is 200kms from home, I must go there !

I love these draw bridges. I haven't seen one in years. Well seen with the bridge in the "up" position. Ours used to be really noisy with sirens and lights so you didn't keep driving.
