The Crescent City

New Orleans

I am standing in New Orleans to take this shot where the Mississippi River forms a crescent, and shooting the skyline of New Orleans across the River. Am standing on the levee in the upper Ninth Ward near the Industrial Canal at the historic Holy Cross School that is no more since Katrina.
Thunderstorms and rain are on the way for tonight.

A wonderful cityscape of the Big Easy. We had the rain yesterday and the day before. Looks like we're due for more this weekend. And, a LOT colder. Looks like a nice day there.

Beautiful clear day. It has been raining cats and dogs here in Sugar Land today. Just had a mess of hail and thunder a moment ago. Nice work on this skyline shot, and the river looks so pretty and blue.
