Birches - an experiment

After seeing remarkable examples of "extreme exposures" on PBase, I decided to experiment last night. It is actually quite surprising what one can get with a tripod. The momentary shake of releasing & closing the shutter is negligible with a long exposure. Now on to more interesting subjects.

I like it, they look like little glittering firefly leaves.

This is quite interesting and I'd say shows great promise, if you want to carry a tripod around with you everywhere. But maybe you should look into getting a more solid one if you really get into this?
