Red Fox

Hurdman Park

This was the second day in a row I've seen this fox near the bus station at Hurdman Park. I first noticed it running across the open field where it was buzz-bombed by a crow. When I caught up with it, the fox was sitting quietly in another part of the field. I had to move from behind a cluster of small trees to get a clear shot, and by that time the fox had seen me. If I had snapped the photo a split second earlier, I would have had a nice photo of the fox sitting, facing me. Instead I got a nice photo of him running away! This is only the third fox I've been able to photograph, and the third one I've captured running away from me!

Don't they always do that! Nonetheless, how neat to know that one is around Hurdman. As long as he stays off the busy roads. Thanks!!
