This truck was edging out into heavy traffic today and was within a couple of feet of the side of my vehicle. I did what any photographer would do and shot the truck through my passenger-side window. Images of the movie "Duel" flashed before my eyes and I was not about to mess with this truck or the 8,000 gallons of flammable liquid it may have had in tow.

Duel is a 1971 television film about a terrified motorist (played by Dennis Weaver) on a remote and lonely road being chased and stalked by a huge tanker truck and its unseen, psychotic driver. It was the first feature film directed by Steven Spielberg and was written by Richard Matheson based on his own short story. It is a classic and was just a taste of what was to come from Steven Spielberg. "Duel" is a MUST SEE!
