The Nobel Peace Center

The Nobel Peace Center opened in June 2005 near Aker Brygge,
is dedicated to the famous Nobel Prize for peace.
The exhibition tells the story of Alfred Nobel and the previous winners of this award,
through exhibits on war, peace and conflict resolution.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in a solemn ceremony in the Oslo City Hall on December 10. Maintaining a tradition that goes back to 1905, the ceremony is attended by members of the Royal Family. The building on your picture here accommodate Nobel Peace Center , Rådhusplassen, Oslo. Museum, exhibitions etc. :o)
