Findlay’s Help-Portrait chapter held its first Help-Portrait annual event during the worldwide Help-Portrait event today. The goal was to reach out and give back to 500 people in the community who are experiencing hardship. Participants were offered a hot meal, social services counseling, massages, clothing . . . and a professional portrait. Wardrobes were available along with hair styling and make-up prior to the photography session. Seven backdrops were in place and everyone left with a finished portrait shot by a professional and edited with Photoshop. Dozens of volunteers participated in the event. Nicholas Powell was instrumental in organizing the Findlay Help-Portrait chapter. Today's event was a roaring success!

Did I mention photos with Santa were also available . . . a big hit?
