5Dec10Lf.jpg

A long, cold winter became a short, cool spring and has NOW morphed into a wet, wet summer! Having
spoiled plans to do OTHER sorts of shoots, the rain has forced me to go photograph something that is
ALREADY wet. Here's one from a shoot in the upper portion of the nearby Leura Cascades and its lush
rainforest vegetation. Norma held the umbrella over me as I struggled to avoid slipping in the mud.
All over the state, people are evacuating their homes due to flood. To think we used to whine about
the drought!! "Has anybody up there heard of the term MODERATION?"

Perfect exposure to capture the cascading water. Lovely light and mood, although slogging through mud is not the best way to lighten the photographers mood :O) V
