This sequence of shots, to number 9953 (my D300 has reached the 10 000 limit), were taken with tripod, under winter sunny light, from about 10 meters at fairly high isos (some noise!) to increase the speed and reduce the movement of these fast birds. Taken at an average of 240mm to give wider range and catch the birds in flight and cropped up 50%. The blue tit on a branch was taken at 400mm at 800 iso (less noise).
