Nordic Prince

New York City

In the late 1980's Royal Caribbean (then RCCL) began to expand into new markets. Nordic Prince made a weekly NYC-Bermuda run in the warm weather months.

Nordic Prince was RCCL's second ship and arguably only the second modern purpose-built cruise ship. She was replaced in 1995 by the new
Legend of the Seas. She still sails, minus the trademark Viking Crown Lounge cantilevered from her funnel, as Aquamarine for Transocean Tours.

Entered service 1970 | 23,149 Gross Tons and 635 feet long after lengthening in 1980

HP Scanjet 4850
