In the late 1980's Royal Caribbean (then RCCL) began to expand into new markets. Nordic Prince made a weekly NYC-Bermuda run in the warm weather months.
Nordic Prince was RCCL's second ship and arguably only the second modern purpose-built cruise ship. She was replaced in 1995 by the new
Legend of the Seas. She still sails, minus the trademark Viking Crown Lounge cantilevered from her funnel, as Aquamarine for Transocean Tours.
