Lovely composition making excellent use of parallel lines and patterns. The warm beige tones of the house walls, and the remaining vestiges of autumn colour in the planted area provide a muted and subtle contrast to the pervading snowy atmosphere. And I like the little lorry/van at the interest point for the eye: It gives a fine sense of scale, and draws us further into the image to see the ghostlike boats in the small harbour.
