Did you filter this in PS? Somehow I don't think so. Anyway - I don't see him as a gentle soul - more as a pensive and maybe even sad soul. I think "Textured Soul."

I love this photo. I feel that you exposed his inner soul. It is so much like a painting. Great work.
Normally I am really not keen on filtered effects on people's images, but here you make it work well. The gentle nature of the guy (or his looks anyway) really do seem to lend themselves to a painterly portrait. Nice job!
