With the Cold Storage Warehouse fire in Albany closing the CSX/D&H mains last nights #293, "Ethan Allen" was held south of the fire. Amtrak could not arrange a bus service on such short notice so equipment from #68, the "Adirondack", which was held north of the fire was used to take 293's passengers to their final destination of Rutland. Thus Amtrak engine 62, a P42 instead of the usual P32ACDM's the Great Dome making a visit to Rutland.
