Looking two miles up river from the Perrine Bridge at what is left of Evel Knievel's
launch ramp from his failed attempt in 1974 to clear the 3/4 mile wide Snake River
Canyon. Due to no fault of his own, an electrical malfunction deployed Evel Knievel's
chute too soon on his jet cycle and he ended up landing on the river bank just short
of the rivers edge.
