When I was young it was once a week in the summer holiday`s - we were in this church at Sunday mass with our family. My father knowed the church for 40 years.
He was born about 5km from this church.

In the year 1529 was built in Łapanów wooden church in the gothic style of St. Bartholomew. The church has a log construction. In 1614 the church was rebuilt at the expense of the then owner Łapanów, Martin Lutoslawski`s Mansion. He founded the chapel, which was build a church. The chapel had a throw of the square and dome covers it. The church was rebuilt by lowering the roof. Also changed their original Gothic features of the Baroque and Rococo. The main altar in the church is probably the work of local wood-carver and sculptor Peter Kornecki with Gdow. Altar is decorated with paintings made the old technology of panel painting. With XVIw. comes found in this late-Gothic church, a statue of the Risen Christ, having liturgical use at Easter. It had been found in compounds with the sculpture of the Slovak Spis remaining depending on the art of Veit Stoss. From the late fifteenth century the Gothic font in a flare of architectural decoration. The church survived from the late fifteenth century, rich characteristics of Gothic church day - valuable Gothic fabrics imported from Italy, trimmed velvet Florentine, Venetian and from Genua, dominated by the typical decorative motifs, most of the pomegranate. The church is made by local stone epitaph of a kneeling knight in memory of the then owner Lapanów Martin`s paws, husaria companion, the knight died in 1652.
