It was such a thrill to see an osprey sitting on a branch in the water at the side of the road
only about ten feet from our car as we drove through Quintana.
After a while the bird took off and went hunting, I was using the 300mm lens with the 1.4x
teleconverter so was pleased to be able to capture the entire
bird in the frame as it flew right over my head.
