Yes, very transient. When I passed today, the shadows didn't quite reach the doorknob. In this shot they seemed to line up just right tho.

A very pleasing pattern ... and of course, it's temporary as the light shifts. Nice metaphor for the way apparently-fixed conditions are actually in a state of flux.
