We cleared the rest of the garage wall to finish insulating and sheetrocking this weekend (I hope). There was a nail embedded in the concrete that I needed to cut out, so I grabbed the Dremel. Since my son has been helping as much as possible, I figured he'd like to cut the nail (what 9-year-old wouldn't want to make cool sparks?). When he started cutting it, I realized this needed to to be captured. I grabbed the LX5 (possibly cleaning my hands first) and went to town. This is using the actual onboard flash, no off camera flash setup for this one. I had to switch over to Shutter priority to drop the speed a bit to get the sparks to be more pronounced, 1/30 was about as low as I dared to go.
