Hey Shirley (and all):
Yes this is my work patio. I work as a cook/baker in a camp. 29 straight days, then 2 weeks at home. SO most of my photos originate from here. It's a great patio, "eagles and bears and deer, oh my!".
Pretty much all my eagle and grizzly pics are taken within a hundred or so feet of this patio!
Thanks for the comments, all.

unusual lighting, I like it,, I grill all year round, I have one of those miner's flash lights on my head so that I am hands free, and an umbrella hat, to be hands free

Now, a little rain never stopped a man from firing up the BBQ! :o) Wow Lawrence, is this your patio? What a great backyard view you have! You'd never have to leave home!

It does look dreary - and the blurred picnic table nicely conveys the sense of transition. And then there's that trace of mountaintop snow to further enhance the idea.

Some of my friends actually use their BBQs all winter out on their decks or front steps. Not I!

This really captures the atmosphere of your season - I want to put on a raincoat just from looking at it! --Stefan

Nice one, great take on the theme.
Of course, the is what we get in England all the time, wheel out the bar-b-q is kind of like a ritual rain dance...
